Congratulations to finishing your challenge, wendy.
I read about your problems with the slippery inside of your shoes. Maybe glueing some silicone or neoprene tissues to the inner soles of your shoes can improve the friction. Unfortunately this would take away the feeling of the metal against your skin.
It might help a little if you texture the metal. Yet I don't know if a texture deeper than brushing would comfortable to walk on.
I am at the aperitif. Congratulations on your weird challenges

Maybe you would have to experiment a little.
I put some silicone inside my shoes. But I got all sweaty, and it slips anyway.
DeleteBut wearing them for 1 h is fine. This challenge was too long.
